The ship has sailed without some of the crew! Now the risk will be greater and as the captain put it "the reward will be more !!!" Yet the crew knows that a share is a share ten men or twenty it is still a share! Now if the loot be div up equal shares to the crew then yea the less the more ! The other problem is the risk of shares going out to those that get hurt and like loose an eye, hand, leg or all three! With less crew the more frighten well do with less, and the chances for one to get hurt can be high if one is tired from all the extra work and with less frighten men . No don't get me wrong i was just thinking. Being a pirate no matter what else is still being a pirate and what a life it is.

You want to do something right, and your a Pirate. SO what is right ? As a pirate I can't think of too many things that are wrong, well maybe stuff the code talks about and we all know it is "more of a guideline". Is there a wrong for pirates, well yea there is, and to each pirate there are rules in life that must be stuck to now and then. Like you don't dive in after mermaids when it is cold outside, or never stay and fight when you can getaway with treasure or wenches, just good common thought for a pirate. Each of us has our own rules that we try to live by now and then, it is just too bad that people who have lots of rules don't live by them at all.

The day was calm the wind was from the west. The small island where we were anchored off looked so inviting. The cove we were settled in was now occupied by a few other fellow vessels. It seemed that we were all hiding from those that did not like our way of life, or just wanted to hang us. The air was filled with the scent of coconuts and flowers. Our ship was considered one of the toughest ones in the local waters and as a crew we were also greatly feared. Yet, at times like this, no one cared that we were here.
The captain decided to throw a small party on shore. This sounded like the perfect way to hide. As the dingy left the ship, I found myself not on it. Three other crew members were on board, and one was the new guy with no more than a few months with the crew!!! What could I do? Well...I jumped overboard and swam to shore and played with the island girls, like any good respectful pirate would do.
Oh, I love the life of a pirate!
