When a mate does not follow orders do you run them through right then and there or do you flog them latter ? On the other hand do let fate take over and let the experience kill them ? Because they are a mate and as a pirate you do watch out out for each other, you would hope that this would be an easy answer. It is not that this happens in battle, that is an easy answer if they don't obey they die by your hand or the enemies. This has to do with mates and whences and bar maids. Why do the young not follow the advice of those that have been there and done that?

What happens when the trusted captain turns out not to tell the truth ? Now as a pirate yes you have to tell a few lies, and most of them are to wenches, but to lie to your crew, not the right thing. The next time in battle one might not watch the captains' back or even not aim so well with my pistol. To not deal the truth will only get a losing hand. Except with wenches where it could get you a hand full...
