It is always fun to be the one at the helm, but does nothing because the boat is anchored. When the weather is good and the ship is just off port to get a little cleaning and you are the one at the helm, you are in charge with nothing to do. (Well hang out with wenches and look cool.) Others swab the decks and clean the ship,... it is a hard life being a pirate, when you have the helm.

Just when you think you are going to learn something new they need you back at what you are good at. I DO ENJOY THE LIFE OF A PIRATE , YET SOME DAYS I WANT TO LEARN MORE THEN HOW TO SWAP THE DECK!!!

On the open seas you see what you see and some times you see what you want to see, life as a pirate you see through eyes of the sea.

Wow, some more guests to visit our ship. You would think that they would just stop by. NO they have to plan the trip and make sure we are ready to receive them . Like a clean deck, polished rails, clean sails, nice shiny cannons and powder kegs all put neatly away. Heaven forbid we see any British warships today. We might not be able to fire a cannon with the powder neatly in storage or even try to outrun them with starched sails...I would think our captain would just be happy to show our guest the good crew and fine working pirate ship.

Being a pirate, one must have the best tattoos besides the standard Jolly Roger skull and crossbones. So what do you add to mermaids, anchors and an old treasure map on your back? I have thought about some nice wench tattoo. But I think that would not be wise. What if it looked like some other wench that I was not with at the time and then the one I am with would be jealous. Oh it is hard to be a pirtae.

Why do mates on a ship turn on you to become not mates ? We were pirates when we were young and have been mates for years why do they change ? Maybe they just don't want to be pirates anymore or think that you are way overboard as a pirate ? I think I will stick to wenches, you can love em and leave em and they don't care as long as they get what they want...

As a pirate some days you are just too tired to pirate, that's when you go wench hunting in hopes to keep you going another month at sea or so. That's why being a pirate is so much fun !!!
